Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actress from America. Sheedy first made an appearance as an actor in Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she has been in WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986, and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American actress, and author. She began her film career through the crime movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was praised. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. After her success on screen she starred in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest film productions for high school ever made. Though the budget was only $1 million, the film's earnings surpassed the mark of $50 million. Also, she began to appear on various television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. The show targeted teenagers and began airing in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that the actress appeared on. Her most recent appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story featuring a female superhero in which Sheedy is a guest. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her stellar performances including the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
