David Muir is a journalist and anchor in the US. The most well-known of his shows is World News Tonight. Its dramatic video footage and its animated gestures make it the most watched American newscast. Made In America, his Emmy award-winning show, is yet another one of his credits. He was his predecessor Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight. ABC News has broadcast many shows in primetime, one of them being Breaking Point Heroin in America. He's been all over the world covering news in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti & the Gulf of Mexico. He is the recipient of multiple Emmy Awards, Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors from Associated Press.
