Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. She placed second in the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete as well as a media star. Her fame has been built on being the only woman to ever win two CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, and in 2017 she was the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie together with her the rest of her family, was birthed in Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young child she has been a sport and fitness enthusiast. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit events in California. Her initial performances were good. Annie had an impressive performance in her initial games. She placed within the top 10 of 70 athletes. Even though she wasn't able to take home any titles, she finished with the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In the same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit events and thanks to her impressive performance, she took home the competition and became the first woman to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she won consecutively. Additionally, in 2014 Annie was awarded a Silver Medal, as well as, more recently, in 2021, she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie became a celebrity athlete after gaining fame. She has been associated on behalf of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydrolysis Sidekick Yerbae among others. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel, which is titled "Annie" and has more than 1000 viewers. This is the channel where she posts videos on eating habits, parenting as well as travel.
